Business Solution Manager-BI

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:



Assist and support Senior Business Solution Manager with the respective profound process and technical knowledge within the boundaries of time, cost & quality while focusing on the customers’ expectations and requirements. 

Focus on planning and implementation of BI / Analytics capability. The role will work under Senior Business Solution Manager to finish assessment of current BI platform, do gap analysis, design/ review BI roadmap and work out short & long term architectural solution to address diverse analytical requirements. The role will be responsible for conceptual and physical design of next generation GCA data warehouse and supporting routine BI change request by working together with business analyst, technical analyst and vendor resources. He / She should be able to work closely with Global Analytics groups to ensure governance compliance with strategy and technical standard.



Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Manage projects/change requests by playing leading role in the full cycle, including prioritizing, project proposals preparation, effort estimation, technical spec creation, development/testing management, performance tuning, implementation and providing training to key users. 



Financial

System and Processes

• Play as solution architect for next generation DW, manage architect team of ETL, DWH and provide reporting expertise

• Work with business process owners to analysis business requirements and translate them into system requirements in related business areas (Franchise Operation, Own Retail, Finance, HR etc.) 

• Responsible for system realization, develop functional specification, prepare user testing case, perform integration testing, prepare user training materials and deliver end user training

• Coordinate with end users and project team to ensure opportune and quality delivery

• Provide post-live application support including incident trouble shooting, issue resolution and coordination of change requests and enhancement with business

• Prepare engagement deliverables, proposals or other documentation as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• At least 5 year’s IT project management experience in Multi-national Corporation with 3+ year of data analyst or BI architect 

• Strong knowledge of and experience with BI technologies (SAP BW, SAP HANA, Microstrategy, MS SQL Server)

• Proven experience on coordination with internal and external resources for data analysis and BI solution development

• Strong problem solving and analysis skills



Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 



• University degree in Computer science or equivalent

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Working knowledge of retail business is preferred

• Below IT knowledge is preferred:

 Security Assessment 

 Integration knowledge including ETL, ESB etc.

 Big data technology (Hadoop, Spark, Impala)

 R language, Python
