As a manufacturing Process Engineer, you will provide support and guidance on manufacturing process related issues. Your responsibilities is work with BYTON internal design team and Contract Manufacturers(CM) to drive manufacturing process readiness from NPI to RAMP, includes Paster Printing, SPI, NXT,Re-flow, Wave, Selective Wave Solder, Assembly and packing for BYTON vehicle components, You will be part of a global team, with members based in Santa Clara, CA and Nanjing, China. Coordination with the Santa Clara team will be important to the success of the role.

职责描述：

• Understand manufacturing process requirement of BYTON Vehicle components, DFM and DFA review to minimize overall manufacturing cost before board layout finalizing and mechnical design finalizing.

• Product manufacturing BOM constructure review based on manufacturing perspective.

• Simpilify manufacturing process via VSM, optimize line balance with lean six sigma method.

• Manufacturing lead time reduction and Reduce the waste at manufacturing line 

• Work with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing readiness from NPI to mass production.

• Troubleshoot manufacturing process failures of vehicle components, including reproducing faults, find out root cause and drive releated team to improve.

• Implements and monitors continuous improvement projects, and facilitates multi-functional team to drive breakthrough or best-in-class performance in equipment, people, quality, material flow and cost. 

• Coach CM to use tools such as 8D, 5S, Kaizen, Six-Sigma (DMAIC), DOE, VSM and SPC for process improvement.

• Quality improvement and Production support.

• CM performance review and regular audit to make sure CM compliance all BYTON procedure. 





任职要求：

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering knowledge in automotive industry or comparable industries.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills, including strong technical writing ability and being proactive in reaching out to others.

• Experience with leading troubleshooting efforts.

• Familiarity with ISO, ISO, ISO.

• Self-organized and motivated.

• Lean Six-Sigma certified

• Able to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in dynamic environment.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytic, and problem solving skills

• Strong communication skills, fluent in Mandarin and English

• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences, including suppliers and internal customers

• Ability to travel domestic and internationally.

• Experience EMC, ESD testing is a plus.
