Summary:

- Lead Game Animator has experience of running a team of animators, and is able to motivate and develop their team.

- They should be able to understand client requests and offer guidance to more junior staff in a clear and direct manner.

- A very strong understanding of animating for computer games, along with proven working experience and with examples.

- A very strong understanding of animation concepts used such as timing and secondary motion, for making creative decisions for animating.

- The ability to animate between various styles including realistic and cartoon.

- Able to efficiently manage team to ensure they complete work to a high standard and meet expectations.

- Have good interpersonal skills and can relate to other members of the team.

- Can analyze workflows , technical key points of new projects, and understand requirements from clients.

- Have a professional outlook and manner to their day to day work requirements.

- Help mentor more junior animators to improve their skills along with arranging learning materials.

- Able to vocalize concerns and express opinions in areas such as pipeline improvements, software and processes.

工作职责 Responsibilities:

- A lead game animator , should quickly understand the requirements and workflow of a project.

- Should have good time management skills in terms of their own work and ensuring the team stick to schedules.

- Able to estimate the complexity of tasks and offer suggestions for estimating client briefs.

- Be team orientated and be able to recognize individuals strengths and allocate work accordingly, as well as promoting the growth of individuals.

- Provide their own suggestions to AD and Leader on various project requirements.

- Research. learn and use new tools and methods in projects.

- Assist AD to deal with common issues in project.

- Work should be consistently of a high quality.

- Self critical of their own work ensuring reduced feedback.

- Able to understand feedbacks from leaders and clients.

- Inquisitive and able to develop their own expertise.

- Help develop and grow Junior Animator.

- Research new projects or test project.

- Ability to implement and tutor others on the implementation of character and animations in to game engines such as UNITY and UNREAL4.

- 具有UNITY与虚幻引擎角色和动画制作能力以及培训能力

任职要求 Qualifications:

- At least 4 years’ experience in Game Animation with a minimum of 2 years as a lead animator.

- A recognized degree from Animation or related education, with a solid and systematic knowledge in 2D animation principles.

- Comprehensive skills in game animation development, 3D model rigging, face rigging and skinning both simple and complex models.

- Solid understanding in character and creature movement and behavior, in various styles such as realistic and cartoon.

- Solid technical skills in 3DMax,Maya and MotionBuilder.

- Good time management skills ensuring work is completed with expected quality and in a timely manner.

- Strong communication skills and English is a plus.

- Passion for animation, film and games.

- 至少4年的工作经验和2年以上游戏动画作为动画指导；

- 动画专业毕业，具备同时2D动画背景优先；

- 游戏动画制作上的理解能力，3D模型绑定，简单以及复杂模型的面部绑定蒙皮；

- 熟悉 3DMax,Maya和MotionBuilder；

- 很强的沟通能力和英语优先；

- 热爱动画,电影和游戏；
