Technical Manager / Production Manager

Main responsibilities :
•	Management of whole production process: 
Planning – Material Control - Assembly - Testing - Packaging – Shipping
o	planning and organizing production schedules, re-negotiating timescales or schedules (with Sales and Purchasing) as necessary 
o	making sure that products are produced on time and are of excellent quality
o	determining and implementing quality control standards
o	ensuring reasonable production cost 
o	documentation of production
o	evaluation of KPIs: re-work & scrap rate, accidents, others /to be defined with GM
o	assessing project and resources requirements

•	overseeing production processes and improvement of these, main focus increasing quality and improve efficiency
o	Reviewing worker performance and identifying/implementing training needs.
o	Training of operators and cell leaders
o	supervising and motivating a growing team of workers

•	Administration of Production department
o	Recruiting new operators together with HR department
	Setting rules and discipline regulations
	Skill salary, bonus system
o	Production records in ERP system

•	Management of the PE department
o	Managing and developing existing PE team
o	Instruct/support production and take relevant improvement actions, as needed
(Continuous Process Improvement)
o	Establish/manage documentation for production (SOP, Standard Work, PFMEA etc.)
o	Maintenance of production equipment, Jigs & Software (incl. documentation and repair instructions)

•	INPs
o	defining timescales with R&D, purchasing and sales colleagues 
o	Implementation in production (defining production process, arrangement of equipment, cell, training of staff etc.)
Required skills and abilities
•	technical background required
•	at least 5 years experience in manufacturing environment, in best case in similar position
•	experience with PCB/PCBA, SMT, electronical engineering, plastic housing (EMS service)
•	Strong management skills
	IT and numerical as well as project management skills
