Business Development Manager at Eurus

Our Business Development Manager will be responsible for building the organization’s market share to achieve financial targets. The selected candidate will define our long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships with schools, universities and training partners. They will identify new business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

The Business Development Manager will work as part of the senior team at Eurus, working closely with the CEO, Recruitment Manager and Marketing Manager to realize the company’s strategic goals, work with the internal team to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. To achieve this, they need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. Clients will be in the Bilingual school market but there is also responsibility for the BDM to support on forging training partnerships that can add value.

The Business Development Manager will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. They call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs.

The primary roles of the Business Development Manager are:

?To prospect for new clients by networking, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.

?Prospect for potential new schools and turn this into increased business.

?Research potential school targets and create a hit list for each region/city.

?Identify the decision makers within the client schools from a recruitment perspective.

?Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

?Attend industry functions, such as school conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

Management and Research

?Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate. Collaborate closely with the recruitment manager.

?Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM platform.

?Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.

Education and experience

We require the candidate to be educated to Bachelor Degree level with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

Reporting directly to the CEO; the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years solid experience in Business Development preferably in the education sector. The vacancy is open now so an immediate start could be accommodated.
