As the strategy AD, you will be responsible full time for leading strategic communication for the top restaurant brands in China.Creating brand, category and campaign level strategies from brand, channel and consumer behavior insights. 

The background of this business makes sure we are the lead business partner in our clients marketing. Our role is not limiting to media, but also pivot to content, tech, creative, co-branding, product innovations and many more. This gives one of the most exciting strategy roles in the industry, and an opportunity to create the innovative and creative communication strategic work, and to actually make it happen, at scale.

You will lead a team of media planning expertise assigned to the account full time, plus a wider team and partners covering all functions in marketing communications, to design, project manage, and execute campaigns.



Measures of success –



In three months:



· Win the trust of the client as a strategic leader.



· Have an informed and knowledgeable strategic POV always



· Be able to advise team on elevating ideas



In six months:



· To design strategic part of brand and long term platforms



· To make and execute action plans on growing, inspiring and building an already capable team to be more strategic.



· With the support of management begin to build and lead a network of supporting functions/partners to deliver one-stop-shop marketing solutions to the client.



In 12 months:



· Leading the brand, regularly landing innovation, growing revenue



· Growth of team members for awards both on individual level and campaign level.



Responsibilities of the role:



· Provide insightful and comprehensive communication solutions. Lead strategic planning. Propose innovations on brand marketing. Structure of key proposals



· Lead, facilitate and coach a team of direct reports who all have both traditional and digital media/marketing experience.



· Confidently present and participate in client meetings, both having and articulating a clear POV.



· Facilitate supporting functions both internally and externally.



· Act as thought leadership to a wider team including providing trainings, workshops and award submissions.



· Be a key “engineer” in annual plans and very occasional new business pitches.



· Quality control of each step of the projects on your team



What you will need:



- STRATEGIC PLANNING: You are strategically minded, driving communication planning and strategy on big accounts in the past. At least 5 year working experience in planning role. You have the ability to combine liberal arts, data technology with logical thinking



- KNOWLEDGABLE: You have wide range of knowledge and sensitivity into marketing communications, understand roles and best practices in different marketing functions



- INTEGRATION: You have cross function experience, have working experience in creative agencies and closely working with media function is a plus.



- INNOVATION: You are an innovative thinker, with past experience of creating award winning campaigns is a plus



- DIGITAL: Understanding of digital ecosystems and comfortable handling data



- MANAGEMENT: You are experienced in managing a team, good at motivating and managing employees, clients and suppliers. Successful experience in handle several projects at the same time



- PASSIONATE: You are a passionate and articulate individual who has strong selling skills



- TEAMWORK: A good team member and be good at cooperation with internal and external partner.
