The Role

As a Business Development Executive for WiseTech Global, you will serve as in integral member of the Business Development team, which is responsible for the Greater China region. Your role will be to expand our growth in the Greater China market, focusing on the Shanghai region. The successful applicant will be located in Shanghai, with occasional travel requirements throughout China or outside China.



Key responsibilities include:

• Market sizing and segmentation

• Developing an individual sales plan

• Developing sales plans by product

• Executing follow-up of lead generation

• Delivering presentations and demonstrations

• Ability to identify pain points and deliver action plans and strategies

• Building customer relationships

• Negotiating and closing

• Delivering revenue to budget

The successful applicant will possess:

• Experience in/understanding of the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industries

• Minimum of two years solution selling experience

• Outstanding communication and people skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels of an organisation 

• High attention to detail

• Intermediate computer skills including competency with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook

• Experience of CRM task orientated sales process management

• Ability to travel for business purposes (ability to travel to Sydney Australia for training)

• Ability to self-motivate and work remotely

• Business fluency in English and Mandarin. 

Desirable

• China Logistics market experience

• Technology software / sales experience
