NPD Quality Engineer Floor Care

职责描述：

• Join in the advance design stage review to comment the design or process risk. 

• Define the NUDD for the project from Prototype stage, make the NUDD risk mitigation plan with team to ensure the test validation is sufficient before Tooling release. 

• NUDD DFMEA review

• Involve into design output review from prototype stage from Design for manufacturing and Value engineering point view via tear down and follow up the issue close status;

• Review 3D CAD for main structure and review 2D drawing for key dimension definition; 

• Review the tolerance stack up and FEA analyses is done fully & correctly.

• Review product specification to ensure the primary function is defined clearly. 

• Review test method development / validation activities to ensure test coverage all the validation and verification. 

• Support injection tooling DFM review; 

• Define product on line test map.

• Support ME and site QA manager for process design (join PFMEA/Control Plan review).

• Create the engineering building product performance collection date plan

• Coordinate the product teardown review meeting on engineering building stage and pilot run stage

• Coordinate the injection part FAI dimension review meeting at EB and PR stage; 

• Support to develop the new key Sub-tier supplier when need. 

• For the assigned programs, provides advise in the areas of Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, Design Controls, Risk Management, and Statistical Techniques.

• For the assigned programs, provide regular NPD/ NPI weekly reporting. 

• Collaborate with R&D to facilitate successful execution of the New Product Development Process and the launch of robust products.

• Coordinate the test failure or process technical failure investigations with cross function team via RCA/5whys to assign root cause, corrective and preventative actions defined correctly

• For assigned programs, ensuring that the VSR close process is administered correctly during the NPD/ NPI ， especially to ensure use the proper RCA/5 whys analyses approach . 

• Supports customer complaint investigations as required. Working in conjunction with the Boston Quality team.

• Make lesson learnt from filed feedback and process feedback, to improve design on new coming project.

任职要求：

• 10 years+ working experience in a manufacturing environment.. 

• Have at least 5 years mechanical design experience and be familiar with injection tooling and process. 

• Extensive experience in Quality or project management is a plus.

• Good knowledge of the development processes and experience in New Product Introduction.

• Certified ISO 9001 Auditor, ASQ and or TS internal auditor certification is preferred

• Demonstrated high level of engagement and self-motivation

• Strong sense of responsibility and high level deliverability

• Strong communications and interpersonal skills: presents ideas in a style that is clear, fluent and to-the-point

• Practical experience in metrology, test, inspection and analysis techniques

• Have thorough knowledge of quality tools to drive supplier quality professionally
