岗位职责:

1.Technical support of Lens Casting, including machine and process setup according Zeiss global engi-neering specifications.

2. Implement and audit Best Demonstrated Process (BDP) as defined by global MET and T&I, 

3. Work closely with local MET teams, providing solid solutions to critical issues; continue to improve production performance on yield, efficiency and product reliability.

4. Involved in the Expert group team of Lens Casting, share/teach the experience and knowledge with oth-er MET engineers, technicians and operators.

5. Provide project support according global project planning.

6. Provide the support to MET engineers.

7. To design and undertake experimental programs in support of Product and Process Development for the Casting and Coating of products in support of New Lens Materials, Treatments and Coatings devel-opments.

8.Prepare and execute hands on casting, coating and related test programs.

9. Evaluate lenses produced in agreed standard and non-standard testing procedures

10.Prepare and publish Technical Reports, Technology Qualification and Validation Reports etc.

11. Supervise and guide Technicians and Operators as necessary.

12.Analyze Production data and lenses to assist in defect root cause analysis

13. Involvement in the new equipment development, identify gaps in development and operations, 

14.Provide the support to project managers/engineers during the implementation and roll out stage of pro-jects.

任职资格:

Education

Tertiary Qualifications (Bachelor Degree or above) in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer Engineering, Science or related field required. 



Work experience

1. Good knowledge of Applied Chemistry and Polymer Science, 

2.Experience in Polymer Curing/Processing, general plastics or Ophthalmic Lens Industry would be highly regarded.

3.Very good at speaking English including oral understanding and written English.

4. Computer literacy and proficient with MS Office package. Process modelling software experience would be of benefit.

5. Experience with equipment and machine setups and mechanical operation and processes.

6. Good at process data collection, analysis and reporting.

7. Demonstrated problem solving skills.

8.Experience in Product development and Process Improvement activities highly regarded.

9. Experience with high volume, small part production also highly regarded.

10. Experience with product testing is advantageous.

11. Experience working with suppliers on material specifications, quality improvements and alternative materials is also very useful. 



Specific Knowledge/Skills:

1. Practical hands on capability to do resin/monomer formulation and mixing, glass mould assembly, hand filling, coating and willingness to work closely with shop floor staff.

2. Willing to travel to Mexico, Brazil and Germany to provide technical support, attend workshops and general development activities.

3. Good ability to research and learn new technology and raise new ideas.

4.Good team work spirit
