POSITION SUMMARY

Accountable for product testing activities in Technical Centre for assigned categories, to provide supports to Merchandising, Quality, Product Engineer and Product Development Team as it relates to product testing needs and to ensure communication for any testing related discussion. Responsible for performing test and reporting test result for assignment in turnaround timeline and ensure following all test procedure requirement, documented as required. To maintain and secure laboratory archives including equipment maintenance, calibration update and samples management. Demonstrate skills in testing area, self-motivation and ready to take responsibility. Assist Associate Manager, Product Testing for the operation in the assigned areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

？ Responsible to prepare and execute product testing activities in the Testing Centre for assigned categories, report test results according to turnaround timeline. ？ Ensure the tests followed the procedure and conducted according to the common agreed requirement by the internal (or external) customer, including specific test that is required for products. ？ Ensure communication for any testing related discussion raised from the customer. ？ Conduct maintenance process as required to make sure that test equipment is in good condition. ？ Maintain the equipment calibration status is up to date. ？ Ensure the sample management procedure is followed. ？ Provide technical support to internal related team during product development, investigations, and corrective actions. ？ Assist Associate Manager, Product Testing for the operation in the assigned areas.

JOB DIFFICULTY

？ The individual will require good hands-on ability, demonstrated self-discipline and high integrity. ？ The individual will demonstrated technical acumen in manufacturing, quality or consumer products environment. ？ The individual will require the capability to provide solution when preparing for the tests. ？ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. ？ Good product knowledge relevant to power tools, furniture, home appliances, sporting goods or automotive accessories.

？ Conduct product testing activities as requested for assigned categories. ？ Report test result according to turnaround time. ？ Communicate with internal or external team for any testing related discussion. ？ Support Global Sourcing objectives. ？ Demonstrate product knowledge expertise with good management skills on handling multiple projects simultaneously. ？ Provide technical support in related testing areas. ？ Assist Associate Manager, Product Testing for daily operation.

GENERAL

？ Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin. ？ Speaking Cantonese is a plus. ？ Proven customer services /communication experience in product testing.
